    Cattleya trianae is the name of this orchid and is our National Flower since 1936

    You show five orchids above and call them all “Christmas Orchids.” There are four species above. The top two are EPIDENDRUMS, the third is an ANGRAECUM, the fourth is a DENDROBIUM, and the fifth is a CATTLEYA. They can’t all be the Christmas orchid. In fact, the ANGRAECUM, does not even grow in Colombia. It is a native of Madagascar. This site could use a botanist.
